The structures in Hoi An Ancient Town are so well-preserved. No wonder it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Shortly after I moved to Da Nang this year, I knew I needed to see Hoi An Ancient Town. It’s only 30 minutes south.

It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site with buildings dating back to the 15th century, when it was a major trading port. It’s now a major tourism hub, drawing people from all over the world. The architecture is amazing and the food is outstanding too. (A couple of my favorite Vietnamese dishes are from Hoi An, as I mentioned before.) You only need a weekend here to enjoy everything the ancient town has to offer. So get going!

The architecture in Hoi An might be the best in Vietnam.

This bridge is one of the most iconic sights of Hoi An.

You can ride on one of those boats if you want. I chose to just watch.
